About The Roofa
The Roofa is a family owned and locally operated roofing company based in Westbrook, Maine. We offer installation and repairs for roofing, siding, decks, gutters, and more. Our team of experts is ready to serve you with flexible hours that meet your schedule.
In 1977, our founder, Dan Wilson, started working as a laborer for a small roofing operation in Westbrook. After learning the trade for two seasons he made the decision to venture out on his own and start his own roofing company. Having made up his mind, Dan spent everything he had purchasing his own truck, “Ol’ Blue” and a set of business cards and started The ROOFA. In 2021, Dan retired after 44 years of hard roof’n. His stepson, Richie Field, purchased the business from him and chose to carry on the legacy of The Roofa.
Currently, we offer architectural, rolled, and rubber roofing solutions, as well as a variety of detail-oriented masonry and carpentry services with other materials, like vinyl and stone. Come visit our showroom or give us a call today for more information or to get your next project started.
